Lawrence & Gibson exclusively publishes literary fiction with odd, but regular detours into socio-culturo-political satire. We have a strong preference for novels, but if you have a collection of shorter pieces that you think hold well together as a collection then make the case for why it fits with our style of publishing.
We don't publish non-fiction, poetry or more specific fiction genres (crime, romance, legal thrillers, sci-fi, historical fiction etc) or short story collections.
All of our authors take part in printing, binding and guillotining our books. So the ability to spend some time in Wellington to do this is a requirement.
